COMPANIE DeAnna Gonzales
DeAnna Gonzales brings a lifetime of entertainment and theatrical accomplishment to the New Perspectives Theatre Companie. She has worked professionally as a performer, choreographer, producer and co-creator of various innovative theatrical productions throughout the US. In addition to performing with New Perspectives, she has performed at a variety of established theatres including Casa Mañana, Hip Pocket Theatre, and Granbury Opera House in Texas; the McCarter Theatre in New Jersey; FlatRock Playhouse in North Carolina; New Stage Theatre in Mississippi; and the Kentucky Shakespeare Festival. Ms. Gonzales was last seen as Juliet in NPT’s production of Romeo & Juliet at Washington Square Church. Other productions with NPT include Macbeth, Taming of the Shrew, the World Voices series, and Shakespeare’s Villains, Fools, and Leading Ladies. A few other Shakespearian roles she has enjoyed playing are Lady Macbeth, Lady Macduff, Viola in Twelfth Night, Ariel in The Tempest, both Puck and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, as well as a handful of others. She is a native of Texas and holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Purdue University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre from Northwestern State University in Louisiana.
