E. Calvin Ahn is proud to be a member of New Perspectives Acting Companie. His credits with NPT include mainstage productions of Romeo & Juliet (Tybalt); Macbeth, and the OOBR-winning The Taming of the Shrew (Lucentio). He has performed in numerous World Voices and Shakespeare Made Simple productions including Romeo & Juliet (Romeo), Macbeth (MacDuff), Motley, Mad & Marriage-Minded: A Shakespeare Vaudeville, Shakespeare's Fools, Leading Ladies & Villains, The Legend of Deirdre and The Bad Birthday.
Calvin has also performed extensively with the Inwood Shakespeare Company. He possesses extensive training in stage combat under Ricki Ravitts and Michael Chin from The Society of American Fight Directors and has trained in various martial arts for over a decade. For NPT he has been the fight director for Platinum Travel Club, and school performances of Romeo & Juliet.
Calvin is originally from Philadelphia, PA and holds a BA in Theatre & Sociology from Oberlin College. He was a member of the Young People's Chorus of New York and performed Carmina Burana at Carnegie Hall.
