"I've been chewing on this idea for naked comedy for several years now, Ariel and I bouncing ideas off each other every blue moon.  Several months ago, she asked if she could take the idea and run with it.  I said, "Hells, ya."  Little did I know she meant to run with it with me.  But the stars aligned, Ariel found a safe home for this project to take shape, and I could come up with no good reason not to come out and give it a go.  This little monologue has been the creative kick in the pants that I've been looking for.  or kick in the no-pants.  I hope it gives y'all a rise too.  In the not dirty way.  In the coming year, Ariel and I will be developing ComicStripTease into a full-length performance event.  We hope you'll come back to see it in future forms."

TIMBRE HENNING was a North Carolina girl. She graduated from Duke University in ’97 and moved to Los Angeles shortly there after. She used to act, and then worked in radio for a while. Lately she’s been writing for some bad TV.  Now, who knows? She loves visiting/living in NYC, but back in Marina del Rey she can see the waves crash from her apartment balcony.
