Ghosts in Brooklyn by Carmen Rivera

Director/Dramaturge: Ariel Nazryan

Presented as part of SUMMER HARVEST, August 2005

The Play:  GHOSTS IN BROOKLYN is the story of a woman’s fight for her life and love.  Based on the true story of one of our neighbors in New York City.

The Artists:  Written by Obie-award winning playwright Carmen Rivera (LA GRINGA), GHOSTS IN BROOKLYN boasts a stellar cast that includes Kelly Coffield Park (IN LIVING COLOR, ONCE AND AGAIN), Dominic Colon (ON THE OUTS, THE GOOD-BYE GIRL), Elise Hernandez (MAN OF LA MANCHA, CAPEMAN) and Angela Pietropinto.

Presented as a Work-in-Progress in Summer Harvest, August 2005.  This script resulted from a yearl-long development process that took the original short, one-character play to a full-length script through The PlayGround, NPT's new play development program.
