NEW PERSPECTIVES THEATRE COMPANY NEWSLETTER

It's that time of year again...

when we are gifted with an amazing group of summer interns. This year we had more than 70 inquiries and more than 40 applications. It's gratifying that there is so much interest by young people who want to come and work with us. But it's also makes our selection of only 10 difficult, and it's hard to turn all the others away.

A very special thanks to Catharine Guiher, our Company Manager, who does all the hard work of fielding inquiries, managing applications and scheduling interviews. The success of this program is truly due to her hard work and dedication.

We are delighted to introduce the NPTC Family to the 10 interns who are joining us this summer from Barbard College, Kenyon College, Mason Gross School of the Arts/Rutgers, NYU, Pace University, Rider University, and the University of Chicago. We also have two students from international institutions: Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and Universite Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris.

Among other projects, they will all be working on the Meganne George Short Play Festival, which is performing August 5-10, 2024. So make sure to say "hi" when you come to the festival!
